Developed by DuPont™, Vespel® CR-6100 is a unique composite material comprised of long carbon fibers and Teflon® resin. Manufactured using a special process that orients the carbon fibers in the x-y plane of the part (the plane perpendicular to rotation), Vespel® CR-6100 is an ideal material for wear parts in rotating equipment.

DuPont™ Vespel® CR-6100 is a composite material of Teflon™ PFA and long carbon fibers. It is used for stationary wear components or inserts in centrifugal pumps and other types of rotating equipment.  Vespel® CR-6100 is recognized in the 11th Edition of API610/ISO13709 standard for Centrifugal Pumps in Table H.3 Non-Metallic Wear Part Materials under the description of “PFA/CF reinforced composite.”
